News: This Friday at RANCHO NICASIO + more!

July 14, 2010

Hey all you Refugees,

We had a blast playing to over a 1,000 people in downtown Santa Rosa’s Juilliard Park to kick off their 2010 summer concert series ‘Live at Juilliard’.  Thank you Sonoma County peeps!

We’re going to keep the momentum going this weekend starting with THIS FRIDAY 7/16 as we return to Rancho Nicasio for another fun filled evening celebrating the great rock n’ roll music and hits of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!   We love Rancho Nicasio as it is a great place to play with a rustic western vibe.  Have a great dinner, enjoy some nice drinks and dance on their large dance floor. We will play two full sets! All Petty, all night long!  Doors open for dinner at 7PM (advance table reservations are highly recommended as these usually sell out) and the music starts at 8:30PM!

On SATURDAY 7/17, we will be performing from 12-2 at the San Anselmo Art and Wine Festival on the Bolinas 70’s Blast stage located between Tamalpais and Bolinas streets on San Anselmo Avenue.  This is a FREE show!

For both shows this weekend ALL AGES are welcome so bring those kids and teenagers out for some Petty music too!

Hope to see you all there!

News: Petty Theft @ Italian Street Painting Festival

June 13, 2010

The 16th Annual Youth in Arts Italian Street Painting Festival will be a feast for the eyes, ears, and soul as hundreds of Madonnari (street painters) turn the streets of downtown San Rafael into brilliant paintings in colorful chalk. This year’s theme is Faces of the Renaissance. The festival features a variety of live entertainment on two stages and bountiful Italian food and drink from local businesses. All proceeds benefit the programs of Youth in Arts.

SUNDAY we will be performing at Fifth Ave & A Street in downtown San Rafael for the Youth In Arts 17th Annual Italian Street Painting Festival on the main stage. This show is FREE and all ages are welcome so bring the whole family and watch the Madonnari paint the town!  Our set is scheduled to start at 3PM and we will perform a 90 minute set.
